The ARIA Loisirs team proposes a discovery of the Marais Poitevin (the Venise Verte) in small boat, canoë, kayak from 2 landing points :
- MAILLEZAIS, close to the March's Abbey
- DAMVIX, the hiking capital

WHAT IS THE VENISE VERTE ?
The Venise Verte (Green Venice) owes its name to several small canals bordered by pollard ash trees and covered by a carpet of green lentils.
The traveller is amazed by the charming appearance of this area.
The tour by boat or canoe is ideal to discover this splendid natural park.
EXCURSIONS IN TRADITIONAL SMALL BOAT...
Gliding along the water's course, a boatman will guide your boat into the secret corners along the way. Or if you prefer to travel on your own, you can follow the marked routes.
